We know that prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays poses a risk to skin health, and those who regularly work outdoors are particularly susceptible. To mitigate this risk, it is essential to use personal protective equipment (PPE) that includes technical clothing with certified shielding properties. Let's take a closer look at what we are talking about: UV rays, in particular UVA and UVB components, are responsible for skin damage, which is why wearing protective clothing is the ideal choice. The effectiveness of a fabric against UV radiation is measured by the Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF), according to international standards. A high UPF value indicates a greater ability of the fabric to block the penetration of UV rays.
